lionlover.jpg      A LION CLOWN AND HIS LADY

Husband and I will celebrate our 47th anniversary this month. Last night I handed Luke his coffee in a Route 66 mug he purchased on our trip in 2001.

"Those were good times, weren't they?" He gave me a kiss. "Wish we could take that trip all over again. But then it's hard to recapture what once was..." He sipped his coffee and didn't add more.

I let him reflect in silence for a moment and then said, "You know the people and places didn't make the memories. That trip became more memorable because of the romance." He smiled at me and I simply smiled back.

I didn't confess my intent at that moment, but I'll let the world know I'm once more on a mission.

Happy ever after

So I’m a romantic at heart, that isn’t all bad. I’d rather live the romance than read about it in a novel. Next week I’ll tell you the story of that infamous journey, days filled with romance from my dashing dapper Lukester. He proved then there was life in that sixty-something body.

Now we are on the Hope side of life.

Life in spite of spite of Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP).

Wonder what the sequel might be?
